The exhibition Where Are the Mythologies opened at the Today Art Museum in Beijing on July 13th. The exhibition finds where the myths are from and imagines new myths for the future through both art and new technology.
The exhibition uses Apple Vision Pro technology and its scene is made by the New Wave art team’s artists. The team has worked on popular films such as The Wandering Earth and Ne Zha.
The exhibition shows mythological stories in ancient China from the pre-Qin Dynasty（朝代）and Han Dynasty periods. It has 28 ancient mythological stories across 7 exhibition areas, covering about 1,000 m² over two floors of the museum.
Through this exhibition, visitors will find themselves in the world of gods, where they understand the meaning of love, growth and life. By wearing the Vision Pro, visitors can watch the birth of the mythical creatures（生物）from The Classic of Mountains and Seas（《山海经》）. Here, visitors can not only watch and experience art but also create art. The exhibition runs until October 13th.
