What happens to children after the Double Reduction (“双减” 政策)? Of course, they have less homework and fewer tutoring classes (辅导班). They can enjoy the weekends and have more time to do activities they like. Here is an example of Mr. Chen's family.
As parents of two girls, the Chens find their weekends are different now. In the past, they were occupied with (忙于) sending their girls to all kinds of tutoring classes. But now, there are fewer tutoring classes. Children are happy about this. Every Friday evening, the girls ask them, “Where are we going to spend our time this weekend? Will we go to the zoo?
