Happy Little Foxes
〔内蒙古人文〕(2025·呼和浩特市期末)On a summer evening, the sun is going down over the green grasslands of Inner Mongolia. Its golden light falls on the earth. Suddenly, a grey-yellow furry(毛茸茸的) face appears at a hole(洞穴). Then another and another run out! These little corsac foxes(沙狐) are only a few months old. They love to play together, running after each other and jumping happily near their home.
But these little foxes are very careful. Their ears stand up when they hear any sound. As soon as they see humans or notice danger, they quickly go back into their deep holes. They know they must stay safe.
One day, a man comes to the grassland. He wants to take photos of the foxes. He puts his camera near a fox hole and sits quietly on the grass. He waits and waits without moving at all. After some time, the young foxes look out again. They watch the man with bright eyes.
Slowly, the foxes begin to relax. They come out one by one. Some even walk close to the camera and smell it with their little noses. The man still waits... Finally a baby fox walks proudly right in front of the camera! It seems to say, "Look at me!" At that time, the man catches the moment with his camera and gets a wonderful photo.
