2026年素养工具包四年级英语下册人教版第80页答案
Different table manners
In China, a meal is about more than

yummy food. People often eat at a big
round table. It's easy for everyone to
get the food.
Chopsticks are important tools,

but don't stick your chopsticks in your
rice bowl, and don't tap your bowl
with them.
Wait for the elders to eat first. The

best seats usually face the door. Offer
them to the elders or guests. It is polite
to finish all your rice in the bowl.
Other countries have different

table manners. In Japan, it is polite
to slurp your noodles. The cook will
know you really like them.
In some countries like India, people

often eat with their hands. But there
is an important rule: always use your
right hand.
In France, you should keep your

hands on the table during the meal.
