One day, Li Mi goes to a place. It is far. He doesn't want to waste time on the way. He has a good idea. He brings his books and hangs them on one horn of his ox. He climbs up onto the ox and sets off(出发), with a book in one hand and the reins(缰绳)in the other.
On the way, Yang Su, a minister(大臣)of the Sui Dynasty(隋朝), meets Li Mi. Not wishing to stop Li Mi, Yang Su follows(跟随)behind the ox. When Li Mi looks up to get a new book, Yang Su rides up and greets(问候)Li Mi. He thinks highly of Li Mi.
