Today I joined a friendly basketball match with my school basketball team. It was my first time to play as a starting player in a formal game.
Before the game, I felt a little nervous. All my teammates encouraged me, and we practiced passing the ball together for 20 minutes to get ready. During the game, we worked closely with each other. I tried my best to run, catch the ball and shoot. Finally, we beat the team from No.3 Middle School by 5 points.
I took many photos of the wonderful moments in the game, and I felt really happy. Playing basketball not only makes me strong and helps me reduce study pressure, but also teaches me the importance of teamwork. I will keep this hobby, and it will help me grow into a braver and more responsible person.
