She breaks all the plates. Jane is unhappy. She says she is going out for a walk. She walks past a dress shop, then goes in. The shop assistant is helping another girl. No dress is right for her. Jane waits and waits. At last she takes a dress and shows it to the girl. “It's beautiful,” Jane says. “It's right for you, and it's only five pounds.” The girl listens to Jane. She buys the dress. The shop assistant is very happy. She asks Jane to work in the shop. Now Jane has a job.
