① Welcome to Volunteer World. The South Africa Childcare Volunteers program is one of our most popular programs. If you like helping others, this program is just right for you. Here's something you need to know before joining us as a volunteer.
②In South Africa today, over half of the people are poor. In some places, life is really difficult. Not having enough places to look after children means many children are left alone without protection. As a result, many young children miss early education. They can't grow up well and become the best of themselves.
③In Cape Town and some nearby areas in South Africa, finding cheap childcare is super hard for poor parents. This is the biggest problem for them. Although many centres have been set up to help these families, they only have a few workers and resources(资源). This is why we need volunteers to help improve the care to the children.
