岳 飞
Yue Fei was a famous general(将军) during the

Song Dynasty. On the day of Yue Fei's birth, a large
bird flew over his parents' house. His father named
the child "Fei" because it means "fly".
Yue Fei was a great patriot(爱国者). When
soldiers from the Jin Dynasty attacked the land of
the Southern Song Dynasty, he decided to fight
against the Jin soldiers.
Before he went off to war, his mother gave him a

tattoo(刺青). She put "Jing Zhong Bao Guo" on his
back. His mother said to him, "I know that you will
be a brave soldier and that you will serve our
country well." Yue Fei remembered these words and defeated the Jin
army many times.
