I just visited the Grand Canyon in Arizona, US last week. It is one of the most famous natural wonders around the world, and its rock layers show different colors that change all the time as the sunlight moves. When I stood at the edge of the canyon, I saw huge rocky walls falling straight down to the silver Colorado River at the bottom. The canyon is far larger than I thought before, and the whole view made me feel so tiny. I love this trip a lot because I can feel the great power of nature closely, not just learn about it from textbooks. This trip also teaches us we should never litter or damage the environment, to keep these beautiful natural wonders for more people to enjoy in the future.
