Mary, a 30-year-old office worker, volunteers at her neighbourhood community centre every weekend. She helps take care of pets, teaches children, and organises holiday events for the elderly. Mary began volunteering when she moved to the area five years ago. "I want to connect with my community while helping others in need," she says.
Both of them find their volunteer work meaningful. Though their volunteer work is unpaid, it benefits them a lot. They are happy to make a difference.
