Exercise 7 of Unit 7 of 8A Assessment & Further study

Protect Our Forests Forests are the "lungs" of the earth and play an important role in our
; planet. They help protect the climate by taking in carbon dioxide and producing oxygen.
; Besides, they are home to millions of wildlife.
;      However, human activities are damaging the forests. Cutting down trees leads to serious
; problems like floods. And people sometimes leave rubbish in the forests and it may cause
; pollution. All these will harm plants and kill animals.
; We must take action before it gets worse. First, the government should make laws to
; prevent people cutting down trees carelessly. Second, people shouldn't leave rubbish in the
; forests. Each of us can take some small steps to save the forests. Let's work together!
