When I was in high school, my grandfather passed away from a heart attack( 心脏病). Time went back to ten years ago, and I was a high school student. One day, my family received a call that my grandfather had a heart attack and was being rushed to the hospital. We packed our clothes and travelled for eight hours to get to the hospital.
When we arrived, we headed straight to the hospital to visit him. I remember walking down the hallway leading to the room, and the door was closed. I remember being too afraid to walk into the room to see my grandfather. And then someone came to me and walked with me step by step into the room to see him. She told me about the heart-shaped pillow( 枕头) that would reduce his pain if he had a cough and explained the wires( 线) and tubes( 管子) that were coming out of his body. She gave me the strength to see him.
I don’t remember what she looked like. However, I remember she cared about a teenage girl who was a little afraid to see her grandfather in the hospital.
And I will never forget her kindness. It’s been seventeen years, but her simple act made a lasting impression on me. I will never forget her as long as my memory exists.
