This is the seventh grade class in Green Hill School. The teacher, Miss Smith is 30 years old. She writes the words "Your Job" on the blackboard.
"Boys and girls," Miss Smith says, "some of you are thirteen years old. It's time to think about what you want to do when you grow up."
"I'm going to fly a plane. I want to be a pilot(飞行员). I think that cars and trains are just too slow for people now," Tim says.
"I want to be a farmer," Scott says. "Farmers do the most for the world. They grow the food that we all eat."
John wants to be a printer(印刷商). He brings a small press(印刷机) to class with him the next day. He shows the class how the press works, and then prints a name card for Miss Smith.
"Will all of these things come true? Will this class give the world a farmer, a pilot and a printer?" Miss Smith asks the class. "Let's all meet right here in ten years. Then we can see what each of us has turned out to be."
Ten years pass. There is time for hard work. Tim becomes a pilot and Scott becomes a farmer. Now John has a large company(公司) and prints some of the books for Green Hill School.
"What you hope for at last would be yours. Just live your dream and work for it," Miss Smith says.
