Nowadays, more and more people are paying attention to living a green life. My family and I have taken lots of small but meaningful actions to go green at home recently.
First, we do a lot of DIY to reuse old things. For example, we cut old jeans into reusable shopping bags, and turn empty glass bottles into beautiful small flower pots. This helps us reduce waste and avoid buying unnecessary new products. Second, we often donate our used but still good things. We send our old clothes, story books and toy collections to the community donation station, so these things can be given to people in need instead of being thrown away directly. Third, we break those bad waste habits we had before. Now we always remember to turn off lights and taps when we are not using them, and we even use the water from washing vegetables to clean the toilet.
Small actions can make a big difference. Let's all do our part to live a green life at home!
