After the picnic, we went boating on the lake. The lake was about 9 meters deep and was clean and blue. We rowed and sang songs together on the boat. We could also see some fish swimming in the lake. Li Ming wanted to catch a fish. We told him it was not safe and asked him not to do that. But he didn't listen to us and leaned (倾斜) out to catch the fish. In the end, he fell into the lake. We were worried and cried for help. Luckily, some people came over and helped save him. We thanked them a lot. Li Ming was frightened (害怕的) and wanted to go back to the bank.
