Ⅳ. Reading comprehension.
There are many wetlands湿地 in China and some of them have become the
world's important wetlands. The Chinese Yellow Sea Wetlands are among them.
They are in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. They are home to many different kinds of
birds and animals. The world's largest milu deer nature reserve is in them. More than
8,000 milu deer live freely there. There are not many red-crowned cranes丹顶鹤 in
the world, but every winter you can see some in the Red-Crowned Crane Nature
Reserve in the Yellow Sea Wetlands.
The temperature in the wetlands is usually neither too high nor too low. There is
a lot of rain and sunshine, too. They are really good places for wildlife. Offering food
and home to some special kinds of animals and birds is not the only reason why we
need to protect wetlands. Wetlands are important because they also prevent flood. But
some people want to change the wetlands to make more space for farms and buildings.
This means there will be less and less space for wildlife.
Luckily, more and more people are beginning to realise the importance of
wetlands and wildlife. Every year on 2nd February, many activities are held all over
the world to tell people more about wetlands.

30. 细节理解题:根据原文第二段第一句“The temperature in the wetlands is usually neither too high nor too low. There is a lot of rain and sunshine, too.” 选项A(炎热)、C(寒冷)、D(干燥)均和原文描述不符,因此选B。
31. 细节理解题:根据原文第二段“Offering food and home to some special kinds of animals and birds is not the only reason why we need to protect wetlands. Wetlands are important because they also prevent flood.” 选项B(多雨)不是保护湿地的原因,选项C(人们可以把湿地改造成农田)是破坏湿地的错误行为,选项D(中国有很多湿地)是客观现状而非保护原因,因此选A。
32. 细节理解题:根据原文最后一段“Every year on 2nd February, many activities are held all over the world to tell people more about wetlands.”
