Last weekend, I had a trip with my mom in Wuhan. It was really an unforgettable experience for us.
It was a sunny afternoon. After visiting some places of interest, we went shopping in a big shopping mall. When my mom was going to drive us back home, we saw a yellow car behind us. And the driver was a man. When we turned left, the yellow car also turned left. When we turned right, the yellow car turned right, too. When we stopped at the traffic lights, the yellow car stopped behind us.
My mother was afraid, so she drove fast to the police station nearby. The yellow car was still behind us. When we got to the police station, my mom jumped out of the car quickly and asked a policeman to arrest (逮捕) the man in the yellow car. The man didn’t try to run away when he saw the policeman. He just smiled and said to my mom, “Don’t worry, madam! I just want to give this wallet back to you. You dropped it on the ground when shopping.” How embarrassed we were when we heard his words!
At last, my mom and I thanked the man and the policeman and went back home happily.
