The Little Prince is a novel by French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It first came out in English and French in the United States in April 1943. This was one of my favourite books with a very important life lesson to learn.
The book tells the story of a pilot and a little boy—the little prince. The little prince tells the pilot many stories of his wonderful journey from his little planet and of his experiences with different adults. It shows us that most adults miss the simple things in life, such as friendship, love and the beauty of the world because they pay much attention to(注意) wealth and power.
What I like most about The Little Prince is the key message: "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye." It teaches readers that people can't just have a look at the surface of things. It is important to truly understand something.
The story is written in a very simple way, but the imagination of the story keeps readers interested. The writer also used drawings to help readers know some strange things. Not everyone knows what "baobabs" are.
I would recommend(推荐) The Little Prince to all children over the age of 8. Younger readers may not understand the story very well while older readers will surely enjoy the beautiful message in this wonderful story.

解析
It first came out in English and French in the United States in April 1943."
What is essential is invisible to the eye."
The writer also used drawings to help readers know some strange things." The story is written in a very simple way."
