The First Ascent* of Numbur Peaks South Face
Three mountaineers—Hervé, Felix and Adam—made

history on 19th October, 2025. They were the first to climb
a 6,958-metre mountain in Nepal's Rolwaling Valley. They
also created a new route called "Nepali Ice SPA" on this
difficult mountain.
At the start of the climb, Adam suddenly felt very ill.
He vomited*, felt weak, and had no strength left. He told his teammates to go
on without him, but Felix refused firmly, "We're a team — we will try this
together. " After resting for a short while, they decided to keep going. Soon, ice
and rocks began falling from above, and a rock hit Hervé's shoulder hard. Despite
in great pain, they knew turning back was riskier, so they pushed forward.
Bigger challenges came later. They reached 6,900 metres as night fell, with no
tent, sleeping bag, or food. The temperature dropped to $-25°C$, and strong winds
blew at 60 km/h. They sat closely under a blanket to share warmth, and even joked to
stay positive and focus only on staying alive through the night. The next day, they
faced soft snow with no protection, so they moved slowly and carefully.
Finally, they reached the top! This adventure tested their courage, persistence,
