The 2026 Humanoid Robot Half-Marathon took place in Beijing E-Town on April 19, 2026. It was held together with the Beijing E-Town Half-Marathon for human runners.
Human runners and robots started at the same time and ran on the same roads. And they were kept apart (分开) by barriers or green belts to keep everyone safe.
Finally, a robot named Flash won the race. Flash, made by Honor, a Chinese tech company, finished the 21-kilometre race in 50 minutes and 26 seconds. *This was much faster than last year’s winner, Tiangong, and even faster than human runners!
Besides the race, there was a new emergency rescue-themed (以应急救援为主题的) competition. It aimed to test their ability to help people in danger.
