Jay is in a middle school. In order to get good grades and get into a good high school, his parents send him to many different after-school classes on weekends. But his parents don't allow him to do that. He often argues with them about the problem.
I don't think all the students need to take after-school classes. If you have free time, and you are interested in singing, dancing, Chinese and so on, you can take after-school classes. You can improve yourself by doing this. If you often get bad grades in some subjects, I think you need to take after-school classes because we must face the competitions at school. After all, nobody wants to fall behind others. But if you are an excellent student at school, there is no need for you to take after-school classes.
