Last weekend, under the lead of Mr. Liu, my classmates and I took a coach to Beijing, the capital of our country. We visited many wonderful places of interest there.
On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. We climbed step by step to the top of it, and enjoyed the fantastic views all around. We took lots of photos and even talked with some foreign visitors there. The next day, we visited the Palace Museum. We walked through those old palaces and learnt much about the history of ancient China from the tour guide. We also went to Tian'anmen Square early in the morning to watch the national flag raising ceremony.
All of us felt very excited and happy during the whole trip. We had great fun and felt the beauty and greatness of our motherland. This trip is so unforgettable that we all hope to go to Beijing for another visit later.
