B
My arms are shorter than others', but I never think I'm different. I don't think of myself as a "disabled(有缺陷的)" person because I feel like I can do anything. With the help of my parents, friends and a special plan for the young people with disabilities, I know how to fight for myself and how to be strong. However, that doesn't mean it is always a piece of cake for me. I also had some bad experiences such as the way people looked at me, though they were kind.
When I was three, my family moved to New York because there were first-class hospitals. I missed some lessons because of surgeries(外科手术), so I had to work harder than others. When I went to the seventh grade, I got a lot better. I also made some friends and we had a great time together. As classes got harder, life became more difficult for me. I had to spend more time remembering things, taking notes and preparing for tests. Luckily, I never failed any tests.
When I went into university(大学), I wrote an article(文章) about myself for a newspaper. It helped more people know me. Many people wrote to me after reading the article. They thought I was excellent to get over from more than 10 surgeries. And I was happy to share my story and make friends with them, too.
